Not forgotten ( Haiku )

treasure
folded "Kami"
in my heart

wristwatch
rusted
forgotten time

headstone
buried song
nightingale

susemuzi
sing my song
once again

To my Haiku friends

blazing sun
fox cub
curious among the trees

midnight sun
old fox
past my garden

past forgotten
renewed appearance
seldom joy

To write ore not to write Haiku ?

I have fore a long time not been writing Haiku. Mood has changed and emptines has got hold of me! Internet make me feel very lonesome, even you all are out there some where in the big world.
I just celebrated my 60th birthday and life is going into a new area.

I am running a funeral business, and death is often taking the lead of my thoughts and make me feel down. But life has its shinig times too. This summer my oldest son was married, and that was an unforgettable and joyful event.

Hope all my friends are in good healt and enjoy life
Sincerely
Roy

Only once; a Haiku of life by Roy Lindquist

winter glory
coral dew
gone tomorrow

man
existence
like vice

we meet
in a moment
just now

This is only at this moment we live, and only in this moment we meet. Tomorrow is not borne. Thanks my friend!

Stare of Bethlehem: by Roy Lindquist

( click  on photo to enlarge)

thousand stars
in the never ending universe
child enjoy

thousand stars
confuse
old mans fear

boat of life
need direction
stare of Bethlehem

I am tired of searching all the answerers, the "Old book" still is the leading stare in the universe of all the questions in the world. There is so many "is-ems" like atheism...but all is about beliefs. Those who say: I dont belief there  is any God, they too own there own belief. Atheism is a belief too! If you believe in "nothing", then that's your belief...its a belief, ore your sort of religion...emptiness .

This is an English haiku ( not Japanese)

Days in darkness; Haiku by Roy Lindquist

mist of joy
cure the bitterness
of vastest life

universe breath
in totality
suzumushi song

closed eyes
listen in the darkness
life complied

I have had days of sorrow and days in darkness, the loss of my dog was more difficult than I first thought. Life looked dark and sky was hidden and I found it hard to continue writing. Then I had to think of the glory of life just in a tiny insect....

like a shadow
 friend never left one ince
two in one

green plains
and snowy winter

only your empty basket
sorrow

My dog Oscar, walked as my dearest friend along my side every day, trusting complitely in me. He was sick, but dident know that I had to take him to the Vet and put him down. This was hurting me totaly...and will still do a long time. Yes, it hurts very much.....words is empty at this state of mind.....

Ikebana - death; Haiku......

all life
is sacred
tiny flower

death occurs
when the stem of the flower
breaks

Ikebana
admiration of death
 cruelty

- - - - - - -

gentle waltz
early autumn leaf's
 distant admiration

Haiku by Roy Lindquist

As I am getting older, I feel all life is sacred, and even cutting flower's make me feel I shorten a life I am not allowed to do.
Its possible this is very controversial to say, but I cant stop thinking of it...
We admire a beautiful flower arrangement like Ikebana, but what do we really admire.....
I like better then Bonzai ( perhaps ) ....

This is unique I think ...a blue aquarium...live:

Tanka ( poem): by Roy Lindquist

Painting: Dan Sekikawa, Tokyo 2009
From dust to dust:

leaf's change
red - yellow -brown
northern wind whisper
end of time
sleep my friend

death leaf
cover the ground
child playfully fly his kit
autumn blue sky
continuity

don't cry
death leaf
once a playful soul
life accomplished
earth still young

molecule dance
in orbit sky
never ending glory
from dust to dust
don't be sorry
